Hi,
I have a 11 year old gaited gelding and I am wanting to show him in a halter class in october.I need some tips though on how to make him trot!!!!!!!!!!!!He walks and sets up but he does not want to trot...This is my first time ever to show a horse.

HI!

I have never tried halter showing, but this site from the net gives you some information.

Have you tried a carrot on a stick out in front of you horse? Just an idea.
