I'm sure most of you have already heard about or seen this, but I thought I'd post anyway. The US Army 1st Cavalry Division out of Hood Texas has rescued the remains of the Iraqi National Herd, which was decimated by the bombings in Baghdad. They are trying to care for these horses in an area that has little in the way of supplies. The web site posted for this effort is at:
