Finally, we got our first horse. She is a three year old paint mare. She's a real sweetheart.
We plan on getting her trained under saddle next spring. She is going to stay at our friends' stable for the winter, and we'll be renovating an older barn at home for her in the spring.
I love horses, and am so happy to be able to have one of my own!

Sorry the pic is so bad, it was taken witn a bad camera phone. I know that she looks a little thin in the pic, but it;'s just the angle. The guy with it is my boyfriend Mark.
I think we're going to call her Emily.
