I am looking at a 12 y/o palomino gelding,and he has Merry Go Boy in his lines several times.I couldn't tell you for sure,but I think he appears as three of the four listed grandfathers.Is this bad at all?Inbreeding or anything?

Actually this is called linebreeding and is done all the time. The idea behind it is to reproduce the good genetics, however you run just as much risk of reproducing the bad so it is important to do your research whenever you linebreed.
