Hi,
My name is Sara. I don't own a horse but I do lease one he is a Grade horse 26 yrs old. I know your thinking OMg he's OLD!!!
But if you keep up with the training he is great. if he has a week off he tends to act his age and it takes a month for him to get back into shape.
Anyhoo... I Ride Dressage. This year will be my first year showing. As long as I stay healthy (knock on wood) We will be doing 2 intro classes and 2 training classes. the Training classes will be on my friends horse a 10 yr old Belgian paint cross. Lets see how it goes wish me luck.
Anyone else want to share their disiplines?

Hi Sara....Welcome to the boards!! I so wish I could ride dressage, but unfortunately was only taught to ride Western. At some point in my life, I'm determined to take some lessons. Are you learning classical or modern?? Keep me posted on your training.......

I"m learning classical. The Old military type of dressage Which I belive is more difficult to learn but then again Dressage takes practice and patients. I'm hoping to switch to a greener horse so I can grow with my training and train a horse in excange. We will see in do time it will come.
