when you buy a horse frome a sale barn and the horse is not yet a year old does the sale barn have to give you a coggins paper on the horse, if the horse is under a year old?

You will need to find out what your state laws are for that...each state is differant I believe. Some only require for sales across state lines. I personally would pay for it, if I was spending some good money on a horse.
