Trail of Painted Ponies!!! VOTE ASAP!

ElusiveKimmaby Apr 17, 2006 12:42 AM

Howdy everyone! I have a bit of news and a request!

The Trail of Painted Ponies is the unique tradition of Native American Horse Painting, and has become a national competition; 20 artists are selected from thousands to each paint a pony sculpture in such a way that is meaningful to them.

Now to promote my favorite artist!

Devon Archer is one of the talented 20 artists selected for this competition. She is a SUPER nice lady and an amazingly talented artist from my hometown! She's also very much involved with horses, and this competition means a lot to her.
PLEASE vote for her fantastic painted pony, "Fancy Dancer" - Limit one vote per computer, so spread the word!

Just click on the first horse, "Fancy Dancer" by Devon Archer, and vote for it if you like it too! She's a friend of the family, a fantastic lady, a gifted artist, and all that good stuff. I would just love to see her win! Take a look at the close ups too, she did a truly wonderful job.
Thanks very much! Please vote, and spread the word! Voting ends on April 30th! Winners will be announced on May 5th.

And for your viewing pleasure, here's a picture of my own painted ponies. Teehee!

Your babies are beautiful! It looks like they're having a "lady and the tramp" moment! LOL! They're marked very nicely.

I checked out that site, and I have to say those painted ponies are awesome....the detail some of those artists put into their artwork is astounding! Thanks for sharing that link!
