Show season over for this year

Sarasmushu May 22, 2006 08:55 PM

So much for being able to show this year. a little over a month ago I went on what was sopose to be a fun trail ride. I dont' remember much in the way of what happened but I do Remember Tacking up and going to mount up and the next thing I remember is waking up in the Ambulance. From what I was told the horse Spooked as I was mounting so I never even got on GRR. She Reared up thew me into a Poll and then dragged me. I sprained my back and neck and had some serious road rash from mid back to waist also a nasty concussion.
So we won't be showing this year like planned, But I will be there Rooting everyone on.
I am getting better I can move and nothing was broken I'm happy for that. and yes I did get back on last tuesday I got on and did walk around a little Scared to death but I didn't want to wait any longer. I will get back on again when I can move better.
Just needed to vent a little on me not being able to show. I was so looking forward to this year of showing oh well theres always next year!!!

the only thing that I have been told that spooked the horse, was a Chicken but I am not beliving that. the whole time I was tacking up there was a Dog chasing a ton of chickens around the barn including between the horse's legs, She didn't spook once. I think they are wrong about the chicken theroy but thats just me.
