4-H, what is it??

Well.. the title is pretty much my question. I love goats; boer especially... they are beautiful animals. I've never owned one... but I would very much like to. We live in canada (in case that helps)... I was watching a show, then researched a bit but couldn't find out any info (I know you do 4-h with cows... but i'm a little in the dark about HOW it works etc.)
So how does it work? What do you do? What's involved??

Hey, that is a good question. Welcome to the forum! I am just a bit embarrassed to say I have no idea. You know what is worse I live right in the middle of 4-H territory but my kids have not been involved yet. Let me ask around and do some research. I will get back to you. In the mean time I hope some one who knows can answer your question....Keep the questions coming and I will find out. Just need to talk to the right people.
