Hello all,

I photographed this insect (Reduviidae?) in Dominican Republic in March 2009.

Is the behavior shown here (2 first legs in the air) a dissuasive behavior like the one shown by the Japanese Beetle (Popillia japonica)?

Is it possible to know its family/genus/species?
