Thousands of these bugs. Help me ID them

Melissa_Nichole Jun 06, 2010 09:14 PM

Hello everyone,
There are thousands of these bugs in my backyard. They are everywhere- plants, weeds, patio furniture, walls. I've never seen them before. They are about the size of a pinhead cricket, maybe a little larger. Can anyone tell me what they are? Help! Thank you!

A Hemiptera of some kind-- and there are many, big and small. Their numbers should dwindle soon enough. Probably nothing to worry about. Hemiptera is the Order that the insects belong to.
