Hey guys! I am not good at iding tarantulas, cause I am mostly into herps, But while I was out herping today I found this tarantula under some wood in rockport texas. I was wondering if you guys can give me a id of this one?

No idea what species, definitely an Aphonopelma though. That is sure a nice looking spider! I can't see the pedipalps, is it a mature male by chance?

Yeah I was talking with a friend of mine and She said it was a mature male. Still not sure on the species though.

Here is another picture if it helps with the id.
