I figured I would pop on here and see what all I could learn from you all. I just got my first T. It's a Nhandu Chromatus. Does anyone on here have any experience in this species?

Welcome!

I had a few of them as spiderlings, but I got rid of them by the time they were about 2". I wish I still had one. Nice display spiders, good attractive markings and always out in the open (as adults). Are prone to flicking hairs and they are very itchy. Also pretty skittish. Handling is possible, but not considered a handling species.

Thanks for the welcome! I agree she sure is pretty and lightning fast! I mist her habitat and she bolts to the top. She doesn't posture or flick hairs, at least not yet. I think due to her skittish nature I'll look but not touch. I got her from a breeder who was looking to unload some of his juvenilles. She was free! I'm looking forward to a long happy relationship with her.

No need to mist the enclosure. Just provide a full waterdish and occasionaly overflow it to get some moisture into the substrate will be sufficient for moisture. Misting just annoys the spiders.
