Brown Recluse or not

mattnoks Nov 17, 2009 11:13 PM

Hey just moved into a new house and found this little spider in an upstairs bedroom. About the size of a nickel including legs. Hope the image comes through clear enough.

Thanks, for the help.

without being too nosie, general locality where found? state?

I live in middle Tennessee, Franklin to be exact. Guess I'll be laying out some sticky traps.

Thanks for the help.

Indeed, smack dab in the middle of recluse territory. Sticky traps are the best route in my opinion. Spraying leads to many dead bugs laying around. Recluse scavenge and are not affected much by spraying -- so all you get is an all you can eat buffet for the spiders. Good luck.
