What kind of caterpillar is this?

tomorrow264 Jun 14, 2009 03:43 PM

It was found in Saint Paul, MN. It is about 1.5-2 inches long and looks just like a twig. It fell onto my windshield as I drove under a tree. Sorry I don't have a pic. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a geometer cat.

Not having a picture makes for a difficult ID.

Try Caterpillar Pictures or something to get initial information on how to begin the identification process.
