Hello all,
Here is a butterfly photographed in Quebec (June 2010), Canada.
I'm suspecting a Spring Azure (Celastrina ladon). Am I right?

Very difficult to say... you may be right... but I would say Celastrina lucia simply because they are much more prevalent up in our neck of the woods... again just my guess based on range, I could be wrong.

So I won't take a chance and will identify it as Celastrina sp.
