Again it's been far too long since I've posted here but in case you still read here...

The best way to overcome your fear is to ask yourself "has any spider or insect caused me harm"? Chances are the answer is no... your fear is based on what Mom and Dad has told you and their fear is based on what Mom and Dad has told them. The blind leading the blind.

Spiders you do not recognize should not be "played" with. Black Widows and Brown Recluse Spiders have never caused the death of a single person but they can make you sick...little more than a flu when all is said and done.

The best way to overcome your fears... sit back... forget what Mom/Dad/Friends have said... has this thing actually ever caused you harm in ant way? Check out just what this killer insect/spider has to do just to continue living... check out why this one spider may have round body segments and why does this one look as if it's made of triangles... why does this insect look like a rose thorn while the one a few feet away looks like a turtle.

Your fear stems from what you have been told... not from what you have learned.
