I have a 14 year old male that I have had since he was born. He is an indoor/outdoor cat. Recently, he has begun taking a bite of his canned food, then running away. I will bring him back to it, but he continues to take a bite or two then runs away again. I know he is hungry. If anyone has an idea of what this could be from, please help.

Your cat needs a vet visit. Something is wrong, and it might be serious. He may be having pain when he eats, which could indicate an ulcer or worse. So please get him checked!
