Our girl Teyla has this annoying habit of wanting to be pet but makes US work for it. She scream and holler until we go see what the problem is and as soon as we get close to her she runs away with her butt in the air! It's like she's saying "chase me, chase me!" She'll do this a couple of times and finally get herself onto a soft rug and fall over, ready to be loved on. She makes US work to give her love. Unbelievable! It's cute but frustrating as all Hades, especially when it's a busy day and we don't have time to play the chase game.
And another interesting thing about Teyla - she's a "kneader" but will only do so in the white fluffy sack we bought her. She will not go in the sack on her own, even though it's always in a place she can get to. She gets in these moods where she stomps around the house screaming her fool head off and the only thing that stops her from doing it is if we stuff her in the sack (gently, of course!). Once in there she kneads like there's no tomorrow, for up to 30 minutes straight. What's up with that? She's completely capable of getting in there on her own but it's like she HAS to have us force her! Nut job!
Also - I posted a couple of new pics in the Photo Gallery if anyone's interested.

Maybe it's a female thing? Izzy will run away and not let us pet her, but she has a thing.... she will sit on the bathroom counter and wait for us to come in and that is where we are 'allowed' to pet her, and feed her sink water. Then, she will just dart out of there. She's done with us!
Sometimes, she sits in there and if we don't come in, she will give a little cry, and let us know she's 'ready' for her lovin. And i can never say no. she's too cute!

Teyla is so beautiful in her picture!
