Ok, so you guys are all probably wondering what in the world this has to do with cats... but it does! Canned pumpkin is one of my favorite home remedies for dogs and cats- if they are constipated or have runny stools you can feed them a little bit of pumpkin puree and it will often do the trick. Lea sometimes has slight digestive issues and pumpkin makes her feel better. Not to mention that my cats absolutely love it! (It was Sina's birthday a few days ago and I got her canned pumpkin as a treat.)
I read an article today that there is a pumpkin shortage due to a bad growing season. They suspect that after Thanksgiving they won't have any pumpkin available until August! I guess I better run to the store and stock up!
