Lost, found, lost, found, etc

Our house is now under major construction. Has been for 3 weeks (maybe it has been longer). The outside is being redone, roof, siding, etc. Bradley, our former feral, hates noises and strangers so he is our Houdini/ghost cat. Know he is alive by the empty bowl, and poops in box. Saw him one day last week, behind the drapes in the living room (how can a 10 lb cat hide??). Gave him cuddles and loves for well over an hour. The other night he slept on my feet when I was on the couch at night due to sawing wood in the bedroom. When this is done, I want my cat back!!

Poor Bradley! I suspect that some of my cats would act the same way with major construction going on. Hope the work will be completed soon and things will get back to normal!

Take Care,

Poor Bradley. And a 10 lb cat can hide just fine. As the general has proved to you

I feel your pain. I moved into a new condo when my cats were 9 years old. It was traumatic for them to have a new home -- and there was still construction going on in the building. The condo above me was being finished and VERY noisy. They hid out a lot. It will probably take a week or two after construction stops for Bradley to get his balance back. It is a VERY good sign he is eating and using his litter box. The best sign. Once the dust settles, you'll have your kitty back to normal.

Well, found Brad yesterday in the closet, and gave him loves for quite a while. He was very happy. Today Smig had to come in the house because work was being done in her domain. Hubby locked both bedroom doors, knowing Kasha was in one, and thought Brad was in the other, as he was not visable. Well, next time he came in, Smig had Brad, who was behind he curtains in the living room, cornered and was doing the hissy hissy. Bradley was so scared he pooped all over. Now he is under the bed and won't come out!! Waaa!
