Quentin's favorite show

teganslaw Feb 17, 2010 07:32 AM

Last night and part of Monday night I watched the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, and both times Quentin sat on the couch with his eyes glued to the TV. Except for some brief naps in between, Quentin watched most of the program. TV doesn't usually interest him, but every year he enjoys Westminster. I think what gets his attention is the way the dogs are presented the ring.
Other animal shows don't catch his attention like that, though, so I'm not sure what is different Westminster. Anyway, it's really cute to see him watching TV like a person.

Star isn't interested in any TV shows. I've never noticed her watching TV like Quentin does. Maybe she knows it's not real.

I'm wondering if anyone else's pet is attracted by things on TV?

Several of mine like to watch shows on Animal Planet. Especially show with wild animals in them. The TV in my bedroom is level with the bed and they sit on the foot of the bed and watch the entire show.

Yay! Clap, Clap!

Stanley LOVED the dog shows. Eukanuba, AKC, etc... Watched them without blinking, glued to the TV. He would sit in a chair next to my computer and watch them. Like clockwork, when a commercial came on, he would turn to me to be petted. He would turn back to the show when it was on. He liked other shows on Animal Planet with dogs in them, but none like the championshiop dog shows...

It does my heart good to hear Quentin does this!

I am posting a pic of him watching Animal Planet.
