Holistic Dental Cleanser

Hi everyone. I recently purchased some Grapefruit seed extract. I use it in many ways, but it has come to my attention that GSE is the primary ingredient in petzlife oral gel, a dental product for cats and dogs that gets rave reviews but that I am reluctant to use on my cat because it contains grain alcohol and essential oils (which I have heard cats are highly sensitive to because of how their livers work). I would like to use GSE to clean my Amber's teeth, but the stuff is very strong and acidic. It should always be diluted when applied to skin or taken internally, but I have read that it is difficult to dilute in water and there have been cases of cats with burns in their mouth from GSE that didn't properly dissipate in H2O. I have some Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and I wondered if I could mix the GSE in some of that to clean her teeth with, as I heard GSE disperses much better in oil than in water, and I give her a bit of coconut oil anyway because it helps with her furballs. If so, how much coconut oil should I use per drop of GSE and would a new batch need to be made up before each use?

Sorry for the long post and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The best, most natural way for dogs and cats to keep their teeth clean is by chewing bones. As cats are very careful eaters, any size-appropriate bones will do. I prefer raw chicken bones, as long as there is no risk that a dog will get them. By chewing through the bones, the teeth are scraped clean, the jawa are exercised, and the gums are massaged.
