CRF cat likes to lay on cold surfaces

quill Aug 12, 2010 01:05 PM

Hi, I was wondering if you would know why a cat with CRF,
whidh is under control, would seek out cold surfaces, ie, the
tub when they have not done this before. There's no fever.
Could this be a symptom of pneumonia or fluid in the lungs? Thank you for any insight you might be able to offer.

There are some symptoms that don't fit easily into one worldview and should be viewed by another . Western medicine has no explanation for this unless there is a fever. In TCM, this might be referred to as damp heat, which would be the diagnosis, and treated accordingly.
