Hi there. I have a 15 year old cat who recently started having a stiff back leg and it appears it might be arthritis. I'm going to take him to the vet tomorrow, but was wondering if there are any holistic remedies for me to use for him? He's already on a lot of meds - budesonide for IBD, COQ10 for a heart defect, pepcid for reflux, fluids, renatrophin for CRF and he just started another medication for high blood pressure! Poor guy. But he acts like he's 2!

There are a number of supplements and remedies that are useful in specific cases of arthritis, but in your case I would suggest reviewing all that you are giving and feeding your cat, to be sure that that this new problem is not a side effect or interaction of what you are giving, and then to try to treat the whole cat (constitutional treatment) rather than treating individual symptoms.
