Is there any hope or will he die

marespooscats Sep 09, 2010 09:25 PM

My 6 year old kitty boy neuterd and a bit overweight blocked and even the PU surgery failed.

He is at UC Davis and they are trying to heal him. He has been at the vets so long and is being so good but is there any hope of a cure or should I euthanize him.

I DO love the cat more than life!

I am unable to answer you as I don't know his situation or what has already been done. Since he was blocked and overweight, I surmise that he was eating dry food. These are 2 of the most significant negative effects of feeding cats dry food. NO CAT SHOULD EVER EAT DRY FOOD. Unfortunately, at this time, you should speak with the vets at UC Davis to get an answer to your question. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Good luck.
