My cat Cleopatra has a habit of using her litter box as a sandbox. Basically she plays in it. This digging it so extensive that some of the clean litter ends up on the other side of the room. Can anyone tell me why she might be doing this????

Hmmmm, I really don't know but wonder if it would help if you changed the litter to something that isn't so much fun to play in. I've used Feline Pine pellets for about 13 years now and have never had that problem. You might try another type of litter and see if that helps.
Another cat lover might have a better suggestion for you. I wish you luck and hope that if you do try some other type of litter or find a solution for your problem, you'll share your trials and errors with us.
