Loki's Update

pmantone Sep 24, 2011 04:49 PM

I really think the picture says it all for Loki. He is doing fine after the orthopedic surgery for his left knee. We had a few moments there when he wanted to take all of the stitches out and then pull the pins out - another stoic kitty! - but with the circular collar he healed in spite of his efforts. He is now jumping and constantly being mischievious so although the pocket book did not like the surgery - it was worth it to see him back to being a normal kitty again.

BTW- He is now over 15 lbs and very long!!

Beautiful! Do Boris and Loki still play together -- still romp around? Maybe slowed down some now... More naps in between playing.

We have a new term that we use around here on a regular basis "Kitty Nascar". They still play and romp together. They both tend to slow down during mid-day, but early mornings and evenings are definitely play times. The both have learned to combine forces on those weekend mornings when we try to sleep late and we generally give up at 6:30 am and get up to get them fed.
