Rules, rules, rules!

teganslaw Jan 08, 2013 10:17 AM

Lately Mommy has been strict. She yelled at me for climbing the drapes, then I knocked her camera off the table (didn't break it, just made the batteries fall out. She told me that I was "guilty as sin". I think that was rude.
She also told me to switch to decaf (I don't even drink coffee) and then had the nerve to tell me to grow up and get a job! Can you believe it?! All these rules she's giving me. I'm just a kitten, what does she expect? I'm insulted right now, so I think I'll go off and pout.Or beat up my toys some more.

Outrageous! First of all, every house and its contents belong to the cat that rules it. Therefore, you have every right to do whatever you want with anything she leaves within your range to play with. If it gets broken, well then she shouldn't have left it where you could get it, should she! Last but not least, your job is to rule the household as a benevolent dictator, nap and play regularly, and eat treats. Didn't your mommy read the "Being Owned by a Cat Handbook?"

Purrs,

BamBam
shaking her head at these mommies who so foolishly think that THEY make the rules

Bam Bam, Mommy had had cats all her life, so I'm sure that she read that book. It's been a long time since she has had a kitten around, though; most of them have been adult cats. I don't think that she's used to all the energy I have, but it will work out. Besides, she was kind of upset because her stupid football team lost (who cares?).
Also, this morning she found one of my mousies on the shelf with the figurines. How did that happen? My mousie must have jumped up there by itself. She hugged me this morning when she got up, so she's not upset now. I think I still have to try and follow certain rules;there are things I'm still learning.
