white glue-like substance out of mouth..

sslithr1219 Jul 18, 2015 03:27 PM

My white sided, black liquorice Rat Snake has a thick, white, Elmer's glue-like substance coming out of his mouth, but not often. He is eating and drinking normally however, his bowel movements ABNORMALLY STINK TO HIGH HELL. Any idea what may be going on with him?

Usually thick, white liquid is a sign of some kind of infection, either fungal or bacterial, in which case it would be best to take him to the vet.

I hope that its nothing serious and he gets better soon.
