Snake in southern china

ec17 Aug 30, 2015 06:28 AM

A snake we saw while visiting the "Genting Scenic Area" in south-east China. at about 700 M Above Sea Level.
It was pretty small, maybe 30cm-40cm long (1ft - 1ft 3") and about 1cm(0.4inch) wide.

Not any kind of snake, actually. That is some type of glass lizard. Glass lizards have no legs, but can be told apart from snakes by their ear holes. Snakes do not have these. They also have eyelids, which snakes do not have.
