Average weight?

Hi all,
I purchased my florida kingsnake in early July at a reptile show. The breeder told me he was 3 weeks old at that time, which would make him 3 months old now.
From the time I got him til now, I've been feeding him 1 pinkie every 5 days. Thinking it might be time to up his food items a bit, I bought a scale and weighed him. I was a little surprised to see he weighs 32 grams.
According to the Munson plan (which I'm not following religiously by any means), this indicates he should be eating regular sized fuzzies?! That seems a bit much for a 3 month old snake.
My question is, for a florida kingsnake, is 32 grams at 3 months old normal? He doesn't seem overweight at all. Could the breeder have been wrong about his age?

I start most of my bigger babies off on fuzzies right way. I always push the size of the mouse. They can get down much bigger food items than most other snakes. Try it and they will surprise you.

Also, once a week feeding is not enough imo. Feed them as many as they will eat (if eating too small a mouse) and feed as often as they will eat. This makes for stronger and hardier captives in the long run. Floridas that have been fed sparingly for a long time can develop into underdeveloped and finicky weak snakes.

when they reach 4ft plus you can choose to feed less. Unless you are breeding females. Females can produce up to 3 cluthes per year if you stimulate them with enough calories.

Thank you so much for the reply. I was beginning to despair, lol.
Yeah, he's eating 2 pinkies every 5 days now with ease, and it doesn't slow him down at all. It was the abundance of activity that made me think he may need something bigger.
I just fed him the last 2 pinkies out of the pack, so I'll be off to the pet store soon to buy some fuzzies.
Thanks again!
