Difference Between Anery & Black Pastel?

CastleCreatures Nov 01, 2015 11:41 PM

Hi all,
I'm relatively new to the BP scene, but have found extensive pleasure in keeping them. Most of you will find this question stupid, but I would like to know what the differences are between an anerythristic and a black pastel. They look nearly identical to me. I'm probably missing something key, but I'd love to know! I have had similar confusion with the black head morph, as it also looks like the anery and B. pastel (except for the line-bred, bold specimens).
Thanks in advance, and I hope this isn't too stupid of a question!

Anerythristic in a short term means lacks red. There is no red in ball pythons. I see a Black Pastel as hypo Axanthic. Axanthic means lacks orange and yellows.
