Good afternoon. I am emailing to learn if you can identify a snake I found recently (on 11/1/15) crawling on a sidewalk in a residential area near downtown Huntsville Alabama. I've attached a photo for reference. Snake is about 8 inches long and I assume is a juvenile though I didn't know snakes had babies this late in the year. Thank you for any help.
