Great looking 13 RBR Cosala line L.t.sinaloae you're getting. Hard to beat snakes that haven't been molested by today's careless/ignorant breeders.
thanks for the kind words and agree. His breeder is really good with his breeding and likes to keep lines pure. he has milk snakes from several counties from just one state and keeps them pure.
Yes, he certainly does produce many nice Lampro subspecies that are locale-specific. Do you have (or plan on getting) a mate for it? nothing wrong with NOT planning on breeding either of course.
hi, no interest at all in breeding. he does have a female cosala for sale but I do not have the time or patience for breeding and then dealing with selling offspring etc. Just enjoy them as pets but this will be my 4th snake (probably a lot less than most people) but in addition to have two dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish tanks, keeping the snakes enclosures clean and the snakes happy, just takes up most of my free time..
LOL!, no argument there. Many don't know when enough is enough as you know. Anyway, enjoy raising the little youngster.
thank you very much, he comes wednesday.. my first milk snake. I had a redtail and hogg island boa for about 11 years and they both got ill within a month of each other and died pretty quickly. vet thinks it was IBD. miss them but I am liking the smaller coulbrids (my 3 corns) a lot. the one corn is nippy and at a year old, not outgrowing it but the other two are typical laid back corns.
what do you have?
Yeah, all snakes can have their own little personalities and behaviors. The boids could have possibly had a respiratory as well though, but a qualified reptile vet should have been able to ID an RI very easily. Unfortunately it can be pretty common with warm tropical species when kept too cool. Other types of snakes can also acquire RI as well though if kept in subpar temp conditions, and/or are kept in an unclean environment. Anyway, have fun with your new triangulum acquisition.
