bought this not sure what it is

me and wife just bought this at repticon, it was sold as a Indonesian tree boa but after doing some research on those i was noticing there are a lot of subspecies. so can any clarify exactly what this is. thank you

It's a fairly common hobby subspecies known as Candoia carinata carinata. The common names of this particular snake are as follows......'Indonesian Tree Boa"(as you purchased it as),the New Guinea or Papuan Tree Boa, and Pacific Tree Boa. These somewhat confusing common names are ALL referring to Candoia c. carinata. look these names up on the net and you will find many that are virtually identical to the snake you are holding. I would even bet you may have very possibly purchased it from LLLreptiles. In any case though, it's definitely a Candoia c. carinata commonly referred to by any of the common names I previously mentioned.
