What kind of rattlesnake is this?

kelliroze Apr 12, 2016 09:04 AM

Found this in 2013 in Tennessee. It was by Avent Cabin off of Jake's Creek Trail in the Smoky Mountains.

My husband turned the corner of the cabin and it was just sitting there in the sun. Then it slithered off and we got a few pics. I looked up rattlesnakes in TN, but wasn't sure if it was one of those. I thought it was a Timber, but then I look at pics of a Timber, and it doesn't look like the pics I have.

Please respond if you know what kind of snake this is!!
