Captive Bred

Hey yall.
I'm totally new to the hobby and learning all I can. I want to avoid anything that isn't captive bred and I've read many times that on-line pet stores sell animals claiming to be captive bred, but aren't.
I understand Gargoyle geckos are strictly captive bred only and was wondering what other lizards are so I can be sure it's captive bred.
