Update / modernize, but try and keep the same classic feel.

The standard site does work decently well on mobile. Zooming and clicking is pretty effective.

'Thread' compared to 'click on each reply'
Heard from many of you how the last update was to make you click into each response on a topic instead of having it be a thread. Great feedback, looking into this.

App
You want an app.

Scientific Papers / Articles / Care Sheets
Classic Kingsnake, still making us smarter.

What other ideas have you all got?

For the love of god modernize the forums. The reply function is archaic, as is the threading set up.

I'm hoping it can turn around because facebook is a cesspool and I do not like morphmarket that much.

Thoughts on making it so you don't have to click into each reply?

If you havent already tried it, "Kimi" is amazing. You can create a complete web site, classified adds, forums, backend and analytics simply by explaining what you need in simple, regular English. And you an iterate all you want until its perfect. Plus, it is smart at picking the right fonts, colors, etc. It will automatically make it phone friendly too. No need to do coding anymore:

Hi. Congratulations on purchasing kingsnake.com. My Idea is for having a page for local meet ups. It would be cool to start a group for certain species and post a meet up date and time where keepers/breeders could talk over pizza and beer. YouTube and podcasts have been great for herpetoculture but they lack any interaction with the listener. For example, I start a West Texas colubrid group for people in the Sacramento CA area and meet Whatever brewery once every couple months. I think the ability to meet with others in the hobby is lacking. That’s why Morelia Fest and Colubrid Fest are popular. It’s not just the animals, it’s meeting people.

This is a brilliant idea.

Reminds me of the local herp groups from before.
The meets could be posted in the events pages. This way when someone clicks on their state they'd see the monthly events.

Basically, your event already has a name soo seems logical to me.
