Is there a plan for changing the forums up? The archaic yet functional current setup is familiar to those of us that have been around at one point or another, but it I'm sure has played into in some part the loss of users over the years.

YES! We will be updating this soon and there will be options.
The biggest complaint of users and one of the big fratures was the way they threaded and this was something I brought up with Jon right away. We hit the classifieds first and last week rolled out the new landing page. Forums are coming soon with a few options on how the user sees them.

The interface could really be upgraded more. This would support a better user experience. It's great to be able to explore and access valuable knowledge about this species.
