a long tim e ago i had 2 ruber eels which now i kow they are caecilians, unfortunatly mine died when my heater went fnky and cooked them and my fish (sad story)
i was thinkging of getting them again, and was wondering what would be the beast place to get them from

many pet/fish distributors carry them. ask your local petstore if they are able to order them. (you will have to go to a small, privately owned store, probably one that speciallizes in reptiles, or they won't know what you're talking about. big stores like petsmart, etc, arent able to special order.) i know for sure that United Pet, a distributor out of Columbus, OH, carries them. if you're near that area (KY, IL, OH, TN, etc) you ought to be able to find a petstore that can get them. if not try anyway. I've not seen them sold at reptile shows, though i'm sure they probably have a very minor presence.
