New Snakes!! =)

Turtlegirl Dec 08, 2003 04:43 PM

Hey everybody!

Well I got 2 new snakes on Thursday!
A baby male amel, and an adult male normal.
Unfortunately the adult male somehow escaped from his cage, and is now loose in my basement (I've looked EVERYWHERE and I still can't find him.) This is getting very frusterateing... if anyone out there has tips for ffinding a lost snake, ppllleeaassee lemme know!! (lol My mom is going crazy knowing that there is a snake roaming around our house!)
Anyway, here's a pic of my new baby amel.

Pray now baby, pray your life was just a dream. The world in my hands, there's no one left to hear you scream. There's no one left for you...

Hey Lauren, thats awesome! I hope it goes good with them. If It were me, I'd probally put out a couple of hides with a big meal in them for the escaped one, if he's a pig, he might take the mouse and stay hidden in the box untill he can digest it, by which time you could catch him. I don't know if it would work, but it seems like it would. Anyway good luck with them.
As far as my collection goes I guess the only new reptile is a female JCP. She's doing great, she had some trouble feeding at first but she's great now.
talk to you later.

Thanks!

Well I already have several hides out, a heating pad (with a layer of flour on it) and I left mice out yesterday but nothing is working!
I just got done putting a few strips of tape around the basement, so I hope this will work....

I'll keep ya all posted!

Nice snakes! Good luck with both of them. I hope you find the one. I'd prolly do what Jeremy said, too, maybe just heat the hide too. Again, good luck and nice snakes!....Michael
