As a herpetologist, what are the chanses of working in the field?

Pretty good! As a herpetologist, or even as a student in herpetology as I am, you can kind of pick your projects. So if you want to be in the field, pick one in the field. The only trick sometimes is getting someone to fund it for you. If you have any other specific questions, let me know.
