The preferred method for dryng venom would be lypholization (freeze drying)using a lypholizer.
Some labs utilize a desiccator as well to dry venom under vacuum as well.
It is highly recommended that venom extraction not be conducted except by qualified individuals, as doing such is much more dangerous then handling venomous specimens, which should also be conducted strictly by qualified individuals.
