I just purchased this softshell from a pet store and they said it was an asian softshell but when i look it up i get pictures of a completly diferent softshell, can anybody identify it for me ?

Thats a common Florida spiny back softshell. I have tons of them in my lakes! Same exact things.

Hi is this diferent then the florida softshell that is comon in the pet stores here ? i have had them before and they were very diferent from these ones

I'm pretty sure the turtle in the picture is a Chinese Softshell.
