Hi, I am thinking about to get some Cordylus sp, probably tropidosternum, and I dont know what lamp to buy for it. Will I need a 8% UVB (8.0) or a 5%UVB(5.0) is enough?
Thanks guys

Armadillo lizards will certaintly benefit from UVB Florescent lighting. I have always gone with 7.0 or more. 1XX Lumichrome output is good with brighter lighting stimulating the dry season in Africa. This is good for breeding season. Money wise there is not more than a couple of dollars difference in cost. With Sungazers & Jones Armadillos in the 1990s I used 5.0 in Winter and 7.0 in Spring through Summer. My groups produced between 2 and 4 offspring Biannually. David Blair sell 1XX Lumichrome and you can find more lighting in Kingsnake classified/Supplies lists or at Shows.
