My albino ACF has a slight bulge right above one of her legs, and the hands are dark in color, and she looks a little pale.I did buy her a new tank, and she just moved in, could it be stress?? What do I do and what is wrong with her?? She eats fine, infact, shes a pig. She had eaten a bunch of blood worms the day before I noticed this happen. Other than whats visible, she doesnt seem to be acting out of the ordinary...i am worried though, and i'd like to keep her alive (wouldnt we all) I'm just not sure if this is something to be concerned about. any answer will do, even if youre unsure. i just need to try something and will try not to remain reluctant. thanks very much!!
Also, I fed her moths, she liked them a lot and gobbled them right up, could the moths have made her sick?? Was that a bad idea?

The best people to ask are prolly at the Froggyfriends yahoo group. The bump might be a bacterial infection or someting I suppose... And some diets that are all bloodworm have caused such things on lips, I believe. But it really could be just stress.

First of all, thank you for your reply. Is there a website i can go to to locate these froggy friends? Also, would you have any ideas as to what might be causing the discoloration in the hands? Would you say that i might've been feeding her too much? And if so, do you think shes going to be okay? Thanks again!

I've heard that some female frogs do have darker hands. unless these just showed up out of no where and you're sure she never had them before, I don't think you have to worry much.
To find the Froggy Friends group, just look them up at groups.yahoo.com Froggyfriends is one word on the look-up I think. the best person there to ask is prolly Rachel, she's one of he most knowledgable people on thee in my personal opinion. She owns this ight here I believe: aquaticfrogs.tripod.com Which is always worth it to bookmark because you can find almost anything you need to know there.

Thank you. Elmo (my frog) is doing fine. i put her in a small bowl in a dark a quiet place for a while, got a bigger aquarium, and a friend, put her in it and she seems to be doing really well. this is my first time owning an ACF, so i'm really not sure what to expect. If your curious as to why her name is elmo, and shes a girl...well, when i got her i thought she was a man. Anyway, things are going great, if you have any pointers for me, i'd sure be glad to hear them! thanks a lot!!

Pointers... *thinks* Well, I'd just recommend doing a lot of research on anything you're curious about. Everything from the substrate to the filter is widly controversial sometimes, so several different veiwpoints are always a good idea. And while some might tell you I have several personalities, I really don't, really. lol
