My little froggy died!

rasputin Aug 29, 2004 03:09 PM

Hello all, Feeling very sorry for myself today. I just came home to find my acf floating and bartly moving. Then he died. Im very upset. My boyfriend emptied far too much food in the tank a couple of days ago and I as I couldn't clean it straight away I think this was the cause. He had fluffy peeling skin and slightly red hands when he died. Anyone know a reliable site for info as I don't want this to happen again. Conflicting advice from sites i think has led me to not giving him the best care. (I read theyy like krill, but now read that it can make them ill???)

sorry about the death of your frog.

please check out my frog, i've kept ACF for years and some sites do have wrong info (and those are usually created by beginners).

i doubt it was the food that killed him.... could be a contributing factor to a rise in bacteria levels in the tank. ALWAYS clean and remove uneated food from the tank. if you dont have "time" to do this....maybe reconsider keeping aquatic life.....
