Hey all whats up?

dmlove Sep 09, 2004 09:58 PM

Hey all - whats up? ive been on the bearded dragon forum for a few years, and recently the tegu and boa forums as well. Im 16 right now, and have pretty many herps.

Ive got -

3 male bearded dragons
3 female bearded dragons (breed these for my business)
2 redtail boas
2 viper boas (candoia)
1 argen. B&W tegu
1 alligator snapper
plenty of baby beardies

Here are a few pictures of me and my herps (and of course my parrot, lol).

1st pic - Me and 3 of my dragons, Bob, Anna, and Artemis - along with Roxy my Timneh Grey parrot

and second picture is me with one of my redtails Cleopatra - Im leaned back because she just struck at me, normally she is really docile, this was a few days after i got her and was still edgy, along with in shed! (i know, not a good combination!)

Sorry about the old pics, i swear i dont look that young.

Later

David

Welcome to the forum. This forum is not very busy and doesn't get much traffic (it appears). I just started my first semester at college and had to get rid of most of my herps. Still have some frogs that I managed to sneak in. Have a good time here and hope you learn a lot. Good luck.

Did they not let you bring in any herps? I know that my first year in the dorms im going to bring probably one of my boas or my tegu (but i probably dont have enough room for him, so probabvly a boa) and my brother is going to be taking care of the rest, with frequent calls and visits from me/ Then if i can find an apartment soph year that i can persuade the landlord to let me bring herps in that would be nice. Otherwise i probably have to do the same, get rid of em.

Most dorms at most universities don't allow pets. Mine allows fish...so the frogs are "fish" for now. I am getting a new place at either the semester or end of the year.

Nice work with the frogs...- I know there are a few pet friendly campuses like i think the University of NY at Canton is one, and the University of Missouri is another.

I've wondered about what I'll end up doing at college too, I figure I'll just rent a small apartment outside of the campus that alows pets if I can find one. My parents wouldn't take care of my herps or other animals, mom is scared to death of the snakes and dad i just don't really trust with my animals.

I like your cages, did you build the beardies cages? They look real nice, clean too.

Hi there, and welcome to the forum!

How are ya doing, and how is everything going with all of the dragons?
I have a clutch of dragon eggs that should be hatching, (hopefully... the eggs were undercalcified and they look pretty strange) sometime within the next few weeks,
and I also had 3 baby Eastern Collared lizards hatch out a week or 2 ago.

Here are some links to a BUNCH of pics of all the herps:

So there, are other parrot lover teens!!!
You can see my flock below. My flock put together probably doesn't equal the price of one of your grays(In Canada a grays over 1000$ sometimes over 2000$.) I can't really keep any expensive herps or birds as well I'm going to University soon, and I'll be in some deep doodoo with the small collection I already have.

My next parrot will deffinitly be a species such as a caique, or poicephalus!

Meh, I love birds, and know every single fact/thing about em lol.
