I am looking into buying two and wanted to do my research before I got them. I was just curious, can these be kept together or not? or does it really depend on your turtles personalities? The guy I am buying them from says he has a few adults that are in the same tank and has no problems whatsoever but then everything I read says they are extremely aggressive towards their own kind. If they are raised together from about 3" in a tank, will they be more likely to get along as adults? Again,is it just a personality thing? I know that I used to work with selling fish and had to tell everyone not to mix community with agressive but had a Oscar with community black skirt tetras in the same tank and they got along very well with no problems.

Unless you can provide an extremely large environment, with plenty of hiding areas, I would not recommend keeping multiple C. insculpta together.
Personalities between individual specimens can vary, and some do appear to fare well together. However, when aggression occurs, it occurs quickly and can serious consequences.
You would be well advised to maintain any C. insculpta specimens you intend to acquire separately.
